In this one-day beginner basket making workshop, you will learn how to create a small, round basket with a handle - perfect for berry picking or mushroom foraging. 
 
You will learn traditional basket making techniques, using willow grown in the Somerset Levels. I will guide you step-by-step through the deeply satisfying and meditative process of weaving your very own creation to take home and use for many years to come.
 
During this workshop, you may sit or stand to work at table-top height. This activity might not be suitable if you have limited mobility in your hands / wrists. Please get in touch if you have any concerns prior to booking.
 
All tools and materials provided. Please wear warm, comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting scruffy.  
 
Tea, coffee and sweet treats will be provided to fuel your creativity. Please bring a packed lunch, or treat yourself to a takeaway from Pomelo nextdoor!
